Corn With Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large onions, sliced
    4 or 5 cans corn, drained
    3 Tbsp. butter
    dash of pepper
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped onion
    1 small jar pimento, chopped (3 Tbsp.)
    1 1/2 c. Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Layer sliced onions and corn in greased 9 x 13-inch casserole. Cover with foil and bake at 400\u00b0
    for 1 hour.
    Saute 1/2 to 1 cup chopped onion.
    Make a white sauce with butter, flour and milk. Add sauteed onion, pimento, salt, pepper and cheese until melted. Pour over corn.
    Bake in oven about 10 minutes until bubbly.
