Steamed Persimmon Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. persimmon pulp
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. flour, sifted
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. sweet milk
Preparation
    Add all ingredients to the persimmon pulp in order given.
    May add nut meats and/or raisins.
    Pour into greased mold and cover tightly.
    Set in pan of water and steam 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Serve hot or cold with your choice of sauce, ice cream or whipped cream. May add chopped dates, too.
