White Christmas Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pineapple (undrained)
    2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
    1 c. grated cheese
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
    1 c. whipped topping
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Bring
    pineapple,
    lemon
    juice
    and
    sugar
    to
    boil. Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup
    cold
    water and add to hot juice. Stir well and cool\tuntil
    mixture begins to gel.
    Add cheese, nuts, celery and
    cherries.
    Carefully fold in whipped topping and turn into oiled mold.
    Chill until firm.
