"Stina" Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. water
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 pt. salt (not iodized)
    1 Tbsp. alum
    dill
    garlic cloves
    small cucumbers
Preparation
    Bring the first 4 ingredients to a boil.
    To each quart jar, use 2
    heads
    of
    dill and 2 cloves of garlic.
    Fill jars with small cucumbers.
    Add vinegar water; seal.
