Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 c. margarine
    3 eggs
    1 3/4 c. pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Blend sugar and margarine in saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
    Blend hot mixture into beaten eggs slowly.
    Add pecans, vanilla and salt.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake in moderate oven at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serve warm or cold.
