Spaghetti Sauce For A Crowd - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 bushel ripe tomatoes
3 heads garlic
3 lb. onions or 8 to 10 large onions
48 oz. tomato paste
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. salt
3 Tbsp. oregano
1 1/2 c. corn oil
40 lb. ground beef (optional)
5 bell peppers
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. black pepper
Preparation

Puree tomatoes, onions and garlic in blender.
Pour into very large saucepan.
Add tomato paste, sugar, salt, oregano and oil. If using meat, place in very large frying pan and cook until light brown.
Drain excess fat and add bell peppers that have been cut up in small pieces.
Also, add Worcestershire sauce and black pepper.
Add to tomato sauce and place in a commercial size or 5 gallon saucepan.
Mix well and simmer for 1 to 3 hours with or without the meat.
Yield:
200 servings.
