No-Roll Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. 10x sugar
    2 well beaten eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. plus 4 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter, white and 10x sugar.
    Beat together well beaten eggs and salt; add to butter and sugar.
    Stir in oil and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda and cream of tartar and stir into mixture. With small spoon take piece of dough about walnut size.
    Roll in hands to form ball.
    Place 1 inch apart on greased cookie sheet. Lightly grease bottom of glass tumbler 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Dip glass in white or colored sugar and press dough balls flat. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8-10 minutes. Makes 1 dozen 2 inch cookies.
