Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced, peeled peaches
    1/2 stick margarine or butter
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Prepare peaches.
    Mix with 1 cup of sugar.
    Set oven at 350\u00b0. Put margarine into 2 1/2 x 3-inch deep casserole and set in oven to melt.
    In another bowl, stir 1/2 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
    Pour over melted butter.
    Do not stir. Put sugared peaches on top.
    Do not stir.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
