Ingredients

2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. finely ground almonds
3/4 c. butter
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
1 c. finely ground almonds
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Mix and set aside 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons finely ground almonds. In bowl, cream the butter, salt and powdered sugar, about 10 minutes. Mix in the ground almonds. Stir in the lemon juice and almond flavoring. Add the flour and mix well. Roll into small balls, then roll them into the sugar and almonds mixture that was set aside. Press each ball flat with a glass on greased sheet or use parchment paper. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
