Old Fashioned Light Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 oz. (6 c.) unchopped pecans
    12 oz. whole candied cherries
    1/2 lb. soft butter
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1 oz. brandy flavoring
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    12 oz. chopped candied pineapple
    1 lb. seedless white raisins
    6 eggs
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix butter and sugar until creamed.
    Add eggs, one at the time, beating after each addition until yolk is broken.
    Then add flavoring.
    Sift flour, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon together.
    Add to sugar mixture gradually.
    Work in nuts and fruit with a heavy spoon.
    Pour into prepared pans filling 2/3 full.
    Bake at 275\u00b0, tube pan about 3 hours, 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans about 2 hours.
