Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lbs. beef round steak
3 Tbsp flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 med. onions, sliced
2 celery ribs, chopped
14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
3 carrots, sliced
Preparation

Cut meat into serving size pieces and roll in flour. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
In a skillet, brown meat on both sides in oil.
Top with onions, celery and carrots.
In a medium bowl, combine tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce and oregano.
Spoon over veggies.
Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
