Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. acini de pepe
    1 (16 oz.) can unsweetened pineapple chunks
    1 can mandarin oranges (save juice)
    1 large container Cool Whip
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Cook macaroni as directed; rinse with cold water.
    Put juice in small saucepan.
    Add the eggs, sugar, flour and a dash of salt. Stir and bring to a boil.
    Add macaroni.
    Chill overnight, if possible.
    (I've never chilled it overnight, and it tastes fine.) Add fruit and all of Cool Whip.
