Pastor Zesch'S Favorite Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pork or chicken, cut up
    6 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 c. sliced green peppers
    1 c. sliced carrots
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    dash of pepper
    6 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 c. water
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch mixed with 1/2 c. water
    2 c. pineapple tidbits, drained
Preparation
    Brown meat well in hot cooking oil; drain fat.
    Cover and cook until tender.
    Add water to keep meat moist until its tender.
    Boil green peppers and carrots in small amount of water just until tender, drain and set aside.
    Combine salt, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar and water; bring to a boil.
    Add cornstarch paste.
    Cook and stir until slightly thickened.
    Add green peppers, carrots, pineapple and meat.
    Cook one more minute.
