Sour Cream Noodle Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. egg noodles
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 tsp. salt and pepper
    2 c. sour cream
    1 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 c. cottage cheese
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 small can mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    Set oven at 350\u00b0.
    Cook noodles.
    Melt butter in skillet and add beef.
    Cook beef until done.
    Add tomato sauce.
    Blend noodles, cottage cheese, sour cream, onion and mushrooms in large bowl.
    Spoon into extra large casserole dish a layer of noodle mixture, then meat mixture.
    Repeat layers and sprinkle Cheddar cheese over top.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until mixture is heated and cheese melted.
