Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 qt. popcorn, popped
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or oleo
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Place 4 quarts of popped popcorn in large grocery bag.
In a 2-quart microwave dish, put sugar, oleo and corn syrup.
Place in microwave on High for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring to dissolve sugar and oleo.
Then microwave on High for 4 minutes; do not stir. Remove from microwave; add 1/2 teaspoon soda.
Stir well.
Pour over popcorn and stir with wooden spoon; fold top of bag.
Shake and insert into microwave for 1 1/2 minutes on High.
Stop after 45 seconds; remove bag, shake and return to microwave for remaining 45 seconds.
Empty into large pan and stir until cool.
