Beef Stroganoff Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef (small cubes)
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    6 oz. mushrooms (canned or fresh)
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    6 oz. noodles, cooked and drained
    salt and pepper to taste
    6 c. beef stock
Preparation
    Saute beef and onion until brown.
    Cover; simmer for 15 minutes.
    If using fresh mushrooms, slice and saute during last few minutes of simmer.
    Remove onion and beef from drippings. Turn heat to medium; blend in sour cream, salt and pepper.
    Add beef stock, mushrooms, beef, onion and noodles.
    Heat until steaming.
