Strawberry Glaze - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    pinch of salt
    3/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 drops red food coloring
    1 pt. strawberries
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Add water gradually, stirring until smooth.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thick. Reduce heat; cook 2 or 3 minutes longer, until clear and transparent.
    Remove from heat.
    Add lemon juice and red food coloring.
    Fold in sliced strawberries.
    Garnish top of pie.
