Jerome'S Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. shortening
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Have eggs and butter at room temperature.
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a 9 or 10-inch tube pan.
    Cream shortening and butter together.
    Add eggs, one at a time, alternating with sugar.
    Sift dry ingredients together; add these alternately with milk to creamed mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into tube pan; cook for 80 or 90 minutes.
