Delicious Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. sifted White Lily flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2/3 c. boiling water
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and soda together and set aside.
    Thoroughly cream shortening and sugar together.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
    Stir chocolate into boiling water to dissolve.
    To creamed mixture, alternately add flour, buttermilk and chocolate, blending well after each addition.
    Stir in vanilla.
