Cold Oven Pound Cake(No Baking Powder) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour (plain)
1 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
5 eggs

Preparation

Cream butter and Crisco; add sugar and beat well.
Add 1 egg at a time, beating after each added egg. Add 1/2 of flour and 1/2 of milk.
Add balance of flour and milk; add vanilla.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Place in cold oven and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
