Vanilla Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
1/4 c. cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
6 Tbsp. superfine sugar
1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation

Cream the butter.
Beat in cream and vanilla.
Sift together the flour and superfine sugar.
Add this gradually to the creamed mixture.
Mix in the chopped walnuts or pecans.
Chill.
Pinch off in pieces and roll into small balls.
Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet.
Bake in moderately slow oven, 325\u00b0, for 20 minutes.
Take from baking sheet and roll in vanilla sugar. Yield:
3 1/2 dozen cookies.
