Corn Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. Crisco oil
1 c. sifted regular flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. cooked whole kernel corn, drained
Crisco oil for cooking
Preparation

Beat egg with milk; stir in 1 tablespoon Crisco and corn.
Add combined dry ingredients and stir just enough to evenly distribute the ingredients.
Drop from tablespoon into Crisco oil; fry about 4 minutes.
Drain on paper towel.
Makes 12 to 16 fritters.
