Squash Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. yellow squash, thinly sliced
    1 onion, chopped
    grated cheese
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 c. half and half
    Tabasco, salt and pepper
    1 pie shell (extra deep)
    1 tomato, sliced (optional)
Preparation
    Precook pie shell.
    Lightly saute squash and onion in small amount of margarine.
    Season to taste.
    Mix eggs and half and half.
    Layer ingredients into pie shell.
    Can top with sliced tomatoes.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 50 minutes on bottom shelf of oven. Slice and serve.
