Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour (plain)
Preparation
    Cream
    margarine, sugar, vanilla and egg until light and fluffy. Add flour and baking powder; mix well. Chill dough for 2 hours or overnight. Roll out on a lightly floured surface until 1/8-inch thick. Cut with cookie cutter. Place on baking sheet (ungreased). Bake in 375\u00b0 oven until lightly brown about 10 minutes. Cool before storing. Two cookies equal 58 calories.
