Parmesan Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 bunches carrots
5 Tbsp. butter
salt to taste
1/4 tsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Peel the carrots and slice them into disks 3/8-inch thick. (The thin tapered ends can be cut a little thicker.)
Put carrots and butter in a skillet large enough to contain the carrots in a single layer and add enough water to come 1/4-inch up the side of pan.
Cook over moderate heat, uncovered.
