Apricot-Hazelnut Cake Roll - cooking recipe

1 (16 or 17 oz.) can unpeeled apricot halves in syrup
2 Tbsp. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. apple pie spice
3/4 c. finely chopped hazelnuts or pecans
powdered sugar
1 recipe Apricot Cream Cheese Filling
1/4 c. cherry or currant jelly
fresh cranberries (optional)
fresh mint (optional)
Preparation

Grease a 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
Line with wax paper.
Set aside.
