Italian Wedding Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    2 large eggs
    1 tsp. anise extract
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream together first 5 ingredients until fluffy.
    Sift together remaining ingredients.
    Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture; mix well.
    Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Cool before icing.
