Caramel Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

baked pie shell
2 cups sugar
5 Tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
5 egg yolks
2 cups milk
3 Tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
Preparation

Pour 1 cup sugar in skillet and cook over low heat to melt.
Mix remaining sugar, flour, and salt in a bowl.
Combine egg yolks and milk.
Mix well.
Beat into flour mixture.
Pour into skillet with melted sugar.
Stirring constantly, cook over med heat until mixture is smooth and thick.
Lower heat and add butter and vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour into pie shell.
Set aside.
