Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 lb. oleo
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    30 large marshmallows
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place sugar, oleo, milk, salt and marshmallows in heavy 3-quart saucepan.
    Heat to boiling over low heat; cook until soft ball stage, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; add peanut butter and beat until stiff.
    Pour into buttered pan.
