Rhubarb Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. frozen, unsweetened, sliced rhubarb, 1 1/2 (16 oz.) pkg. or 1 1/2 lb. fresh rhubarb, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 baked 9-inch pastry shell
    whipped cream (optional)
Preparation
    To thaw
    frozen
    rhubarb,
    place in a 2 quart microwave safe bowl
    and microcook,
    uncovered,
    on
    100% power (High) 5 minutes or until thawed; do not drain.
