Scalloped Gouda Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. potatoes, peeled and sliced
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. garlic juice
    1/2 tsp. freshly ground white pepper
    1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
    2 1/2 c. shredded mild Gouda cheese
    1 c. whole milk
    1/2 c. cream
Preparation
    Grease deep casserole dish.
    Place 1 layer of potato slices in the bottom.
    Sprinkle nutmeg, salt, garlic and the peppers.
    Cover potatoes next with 1 cup of the cheese.
    Cover the cheese with 1/2 of the milk and 1/2 of the cream.
    Repeat with a layer of potatoes, spices, cheese, milk and cream.
    End with cheese, milk and cream on the very top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
    Serves 8.
