Fried Chicken Grandma'S Way - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer
    salt
    pepper
    flour
    Wesson oil
    garlic powder (optional)
Preparation
    Before you start to fry chicken, let it soak all night in a large bowl with salt and water.
    Remove chicken from refrigerator. Drain water and pepper lightly.
    You may also use garlic powder if you desire to.
    Flour chicken, then place in skillet of Wesson oil. Cover with lid.
    Cook on medium-high until golden brown.
