Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 lb. raisins
1/2 c. bourbon
1 lb. pecan halves
1/2 lb. citron, diced (candied pineapple may be substituted for citron)
1 lb. candied cherries
Preparation

Cream margarine, gradually beat in sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Sift flour with soda and spices.
Add to margarine mixture.
Soak raisins in bourbon at least one hour to plump; then add to margarine mixture, along with nuts and fruit.
Drop from teaspoon on buttered cookie sheets. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Store in airtight container.
Can be frozen.
Makes 120.
