German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. cooked, sliced, peeled potatoes
    6 bacon strips
    3/4 c. chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2/3 c. cider vinegar
    1 1/3 c. water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a large skillet, fry bacon until crisp; remove; set aside. Cook onion in 3 tablespoons of bacon drippings until done.
    Stir in flour, mix well.
    Add water and vinegar; cook until slightly thickened.
    Add sugar and cook until sugar dissolves.
    Crumble bacon and add to mixture with potatoes.
    Heat, stirring lightly to coat the potatoes.
    Serve warm.
    Serves 6 to 8.
