Charlotte Redwine'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 large eggs
    1 c. milk
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Blend butter, sugar and Crisco together.
    Add small amounts of milk and flour, alternating between the two, until well blended with butter mixture.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add flavorings and remaining ingredients.
    Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
