Grandma'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chopped beef
    4 good size onions
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    4 Tbsp. catsup
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    1 can kidney beans (plain)
Preparation
    Saute chopped beef with salt and pepper; drain and set aside. Saute onions in about 4 tablespoons vegetable oil in a large frying pan until tender.
    Add kidney beans, catsup, molasses, garlic powder and meat which has been crumbled.
    Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
    A little water may be added.
    A good hearty main dish served over cooked wide noodles and one or two other vegetables.
