Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. flour
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
    1/2 c. coconut
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients, then add the nuts, dates, coconut, eggs and vanilla.
    Spread mixture about 1/2-inch thick in buttered pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Remove pan from oven. Cut and roll in balls and then in granulated sugar.
