Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) box 40% bran flakes
    3 c. sugar
    5 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1 c. cooking oil
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 c. raisins
    2 oranges, grated (the inside of two oranges ground up in blender)
Preparation
    Break bran flakes up with fingers.
    Stir in sugar, flour, soda and salt.
    Stir in eggs, milk, oil, juice and pieces of orange. Add raisins and dates.
    Put in refrigerator for 1 day or longer. Fill paper cups 2/3 full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Makes 48.
