Large Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. oleo or 2 sticks butter
1 c. Crisco
8 eggs
3 1/2 c. plain flour, sifted
2 3/4 c. sugar
8 Tbsp. canned milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla or lemon extract
Preparation

Cream the sugar, Crisco and oleo or margarine; add eggs, one at a time.
Then add flour a little at a time.
Also add part of the milk until you use all the flour and the milk, beating well with a mixer.
Add vanilla extract, if desired, and cream all well. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan and pour batter in pan.
Cook at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
