Black Bottom Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    1/3 c. oil
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    chopped nuts (for topping)
Preparation
    Beat together the cream cheese, egg, 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/8 teaspoon salt.
    Stir in the chocolate chips and let stand.
    Sift together the flour, 1 cup of sugar, cocoa, soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
    Add the water, oil, vinegar and vanilla.
    Beat well together until blended.
    Fill cupcake papers 1/3 full with the chocolate batter, then top with heaping teaspoonfuls of the cheese batter and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
