Tortillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. flour
    4 level tsp. baking powder
    3 1/2 level tsp. salt
    12 level tsp. shortening
    2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. warm water
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients, add shortening and blend well.
    Add from 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 cups warm water, a portion at a time.
    Knead well, shape into small balls, flatten and roll out with a rolling pin.
    Place in a skillet that has been preheated to medium hot. Keep covered.
    Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
