Fried Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
1 c. shortening
12 oz. can evaporated milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Mix well.
Pinch off pieces of dough about the size of a walnut and roll on floured board until thin.
Put a tablespoon of any kind of fruit in the center.
Wet edges to stick and fry. Pies can be frozen for later use.
Makes about 40 pies.
