Calorie Counter Chop Suey - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. diced onion
2 c. sliced celery
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces (and liquid)
1 (5 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
3 or 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. brown sugar
1 (1 lb.) can bean sprouts, drained
Preparation

Saute meat in skillet, breaking up as it cooks.
Add onion and celery and simmer 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Cook, covered, until heated through well.
Makes 4 servings, approximately 258 calories per serving.
