Chicken Caroline - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 to 3 lb.) chicken, cut up
    2 Tbsp. oil
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 tomatoes, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    2 cans tomato sauce
Preparation
    Sprinkle chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
    Brown in oil and place in pan.
    Sprinkle with remaining ingredients and pour tomato sauce plus one can of water over top.
    Cover and simmer 1 hour.
