Apple Oatmeal Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. peeled and thinly sliced tart (Granny Smith) cooking apple
    1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    3 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    1/3 c. flour
    1 c. rolled oats
    1/2 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon or to taste
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. unsalted butter, melted and cooled
Preparation
    In a well buttered 9 inch square baking pan, combine apples, lemon juice, and the granulated sugar.
    In a bowl combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and the salt, add the butter and combine the mixture well.
