Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. corn meal
1 1/2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 medium onion, chopped
1 regular size creamed corn
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. crushed red pepper

Preparation

Mix together. Drop into fat at 375\u00b0. Cook until golden brown (about 10 minutes).
Use rounded teaspoonful of batter for each hush puppie.
This makes a large amount.
You can mix dry ingredients and put in Ziploc Baggie and keep on hand.
