Madylon'S Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. butter
    1/3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 c. chicken broth
    1 lb. sliced mushrooms
Preparation
    Melt butter in 2 1/2-quart saucepan. Stir in flour and pepper until blended. Gradually add broth, mixing well after each addition. Stir in mushrooms and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally. (Do not boil.) Makes
    5 to 6 (1-cup) servings.
