Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
6 tsp. cornstarch
red food color
4 Tbsp. dry cherry or strawberry jello
whole fresh strawberries
whipped cream

Preparation

Mix the sugar, water and cornstarch together.
Add the red food coloring and jello; cook until thick.
Line a baked shell with strawberries.
Pour cooled jello mixture over berries.
Top with whipped cream and refrigerate.
