Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dry bread crumbs
    4 c. milk, scalded
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    4 slightly beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Soak bread in milk for 5 minutes.
    Add butter, salt and sugar. Pour slowly over eggs.
    Add vanilla; mix well.
    Pour into greased baking dish.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 until firm (about 50 minutes). May add 1/2 cup raisins or cocoa for chocolate pudding.
