Corn Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. peeled, cubed potatoes
2 c. water
1 c. diced celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
2 c. creamed corn
2 c. whole kernel corn
2 to 3 c. rich soy or tofu milk
Preparation

Place all ingredients, except the last three, in a large kettle and simmer over low heat until potatoes are almost done.
Stir in corn and continue simmering for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Add milk to desired consistency.
Turn heat off and let stand for 15 to 20 minutes.
Remove bay leaf before serving.
